Evelyn Ogbeta is a Legal Practitioner from Nigeria. Prior to commencing her PhD studies at the Australian National Centre for Ocean Resources and Security (ANCORS), she worked at one of the leading commercial firms in Nigeria as an intellectual property lawyer. She has also worked in one of the States Ministry of Justice in her country. Directly working with the Attorney General of the state in civil proceeding.
She has also completed her Masters programme in Maritime policy at ANCORS with her thesis focusing on The Success of Different Approaches in Resolving Maritime Boundary Disputes. Her interest are International Maritime and Fisheries Law.
