Lisa joined ANCORS in 2017 as a Project Manager for the DFAT/ACIAR-funded project Strengthening and scaling community-based approaches to Pacific coastal fisheries management being implemented over four years in the Pacific with partners WorldFish, the Pacific Community, and the fisheries divisions of partner country governments of Kiribati, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. Lisa’s role will see her managing the project’s $9M in funds, and assisting the research team with ethics approvals, compliance, reporting, and monitoring and evaluation.
Lisa brings to ANCORS 12 years’ experience managing international development consultancy and research projects. Previously she was the manager of the Policy Design and Evaluation Lab at University of California San Diego’s School of Global Policy and Strategy, where she oversaw management of large-scale multi-partner field experiments to study poverty solutions in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. Prior to that, she was project manager of the Australia-East Timor Capacity Building Facility funded by the Australian government.
