Examines the international principles for sustainable fisheries management, ecological aspects of fisheries, fisheries economics, fisheries data collection and analysis, and fisheries and coastal resource management.
It also examines the application of international fisheries management principles and measures in a number of national jurisdictions.
You will discuss the management frameworks established by regional fisheries organisations and the challenges confronting member States in implementing such frameworks.
