I work for Legal and Organization Bureau of the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries in which I serve as a legal drafter and in a structural position. As a legal drafter, I am experienced in drafting and negotiating various bilateral and multilateral agreements as well as domestic laws and regulations. I assumed 2nd position on the training of drafting laws and regulations. It is an honour also to receive Australia Awards Scholarships (AAS) for my current study in ANCORS and Master Degree of International Law and International Relations in University of New South Wales (UNSW). As a Fellow in UN-Nippon Fellowship Program 2016, I should engage in a three-month and six-month program in UN DOALOS (United Nations Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea) and Nelson Mandela University of South Africa, respectively. UN DOALOS also facilitates me to be part of Regional Leaders Program on Areas Beyond National Jurisdiction (ABNJ) 2016 and Preparatory Meetings on ABNJ in the UN.
When working in the Ministry, I had the opportunity as a consultant on legal, policy and institution of Sulu-Sulawesi Marine Ecoregion Program as part of cooperation between UNDP/GEF and the Governments of Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. Before I joined the Ministry, I was a member of expert panel in the House of Representatives of Indonesia for international relations and ethics matters and an Officer in ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly.
